Look, we could fill this page with fancy jargon, but honestly? We'd rather show you the actual work. These projects represent years of late-night brainstorming sessions, countless site visits, and yeah... probably too much coffee. Each one taught us something new about what works and what doesn't in sustainable design.

This one was a challenge from day one. The client wanted a commercial space that didn't feel like every other boring office block downtown. We went with loads of natural light, green roofs, and honestly? The trickiest part was getting the solar panel integration to look good AND perform well. Spoiler: it worked out pretty nicely.

Man, this project was special. The clients had lived in cookie-cutter suburbs forever and wanted something that actually felt like home. We designed around the natural slope of the property - lots of windows facing the lake, geothermal heating (which saved them a ton on energy costs), and custom woodwork throughout. They still send us photos of their sunsets.

Okay, so heritage work isn't for the faint of heart. This 1890s building had seen better days - we're talking structural issues, outdated everything, but such beautiful bones. Working with the heritage committee was... let's just say educational. We kept the original brick facade, restored the ironwork, and somehow managed to sneak modern HVAC and insulation in there. It's now a mixed-use space that actually respects its history.

This was our first big multi-unit project and wow, did we learn a lot. The developer wanted to prove that affordable housing doesn't have to mean sacrificing sustainability. We packed in rainwater harvesting, communal green spaces, and energy-efficient units that actually stay comfortable year-round. Best part? The tenants love it, and the operating costs came in way lower than projected.

Currently our biggest active project and honestly, it's keeping us pretty busy. The neighborhood wanted a space that'd work for everyone - from kids' programs to senior activities. We're building this as a net-zero energy building, which in Canada's climate is... ambitious. There've been some hiccups (there always are), but watching it take shape has been incredible. Can't wait to see the community actually using it.
No two projects are identical, but here's the general flow - with a healthy dose of reality
We sit down with you - like, actually sit and talk. No presentations yet. Just understanding what you need, what bugs you about your current space, and what gets you excited. Then comes site visits, measurements, and yes... lots of photos.
This is where the magic happens - or where we go through a dozen iterations until it clicks. We sketch, model in 3D, sometimes even build physical mockups. You'll probably see stuff you hate (tell us!) and stuff you love (also tell us!).
